Sam Green's Rivers & Lakes (CD)

£12.00

Debut album from Rivers and Lakes, a UK-based 6 piece Jazz collective, led by Sam Green. Their music, soundscapes and improvisations are inspired largely by the North English countryside from Leeds to Cumbria, where Sam spent his childhood.

Rivers And Lakes has a sense of euphoria in their music that’s rare to find. Having drawn comparisons to The Fellowship Band, Fergus McCreadie, and Chris Lightcap, Rivers And Lakes is everything the UK Jazz scene stands for, and is one to watch out for in coming years.

The members come from Scotland, Ireland, England, Wales, and Ukraine, bringing together some of the leading innovating young voices from each region.
